Qualified candidates should have a doctoral degree in biomedical engineering or a similarly equivalent area, and have demonstrated excellent capability during post-doctoral research.
A qualified candidate will be able to contribute to teaching in the undergraduate and graduate educational programs, and will have already developed or will demonstrate potential to develop an extramurally funded research program. Investigators will collaborate with other clinical and basic science faculty both within BMEand across other departments at both UNC and NC State, including the Hospital and Veterinary School. Primary research space for this position will be located at UNC Chapel Hill.
