We cordially invite you to plan joining the ICRS Heritage Summit in Gothenburg. The word heritage refers to important historical events that have a special meaning to the ICRS. 20 years ago, in 1997, the ICRS was formed in Fribourg, Switzerland. 10 years earlier in October 1987, the first autologous chondrocyte implantation was performed in Gothenburg, Sweden. Those events are important milestones for all of us devoted to the mysteries of cartilaginous tissues and their development, degeneration and repair.
We subsequently wanted to celebrate those birthdays with a unique heritage meeting to be held on June 29 -July 01, 2017 at the Hotel Gothia Towers, Gothenburg, Sweden. It is a meeting which will focus on the past, present and the future of cartilage science; what have we learned and what we can do for the next 30 years? ” We will also discuss the future of our society and how we can impact the future of our field.
Join this special event and enjoy intimate and extensive discussions with the international leaders in his scientific research field in Gothenburg, Sweden. An extensive Scientific Programme, Top international faculty and more information is now available on our website.
We look forward to seeing you in Gothenburg this summer, where you can enyoy up to 18 (!!!) hours of daylight in June.
