Call For Abstracts / Posters

The local organizing committee would like to invite especially our young investigators, researchers and students below age 40 to submit abstracts of their latest research to be possibly presented as poster presentations during the meeting. Accepted posters will be graded by a scientific committee and 5 posters abstracts will be nominated to be presented in a rapid fire presentation. An Award of 500 € will be granted to the best poster.  Abstract Submission is now closed !

  • Imaging of Cartilage Regeneration – (Methods, Scoring Systems, Compositional MR)
  • Imaging of Associated Meniscus & Ligament Lesions
  • Imaging Correlation with Clinical Outcome, Arthroscopy and Histology
  • Comparison of Outcomes from Cartilage Regeneration Procedures (clinically & radiographically)
  • Quality Assessment of Cartilage Procedures – Biomarkers
  • New Technologies in Digital Assessment of Cartilage Regeneration Outcomes
  • Sequential Follow-up of Cartilage Regeneration after different Surgical & Experimental Treatment

Abstract Format

Abstracts must be submitted in English within the following structure:
Purpose – Materials & Methods – Results – Conclusion.
Abstract length is limited to a maximum of 200 words (no graphics, Pics, Tabs).

Abstract Submission & Deadline

A link to a simple submission form will be availalbe on our website to submit abstracts between August 27 – October 15, 2019 (no extension will be possible)

Confirmation of Abstracts

Scientific contributions will be confirmed by end of October, 2019 to the submitting author. The submitting author must inform all co-authors of the notification result. Presenting authors of accepted abstracts will be required to reconfirm their presentations and they are expected to register normally to the congress. They must cover their own travel, lodging and registration fees.

Poster Dimensions:  Din A0 – Vertical: (there are 4 posters on 1 single poster board, therefore you need to meet the dimensions below)
Width: 84 cm x Height: 118 cm or Width: 33 inches x Height: 46 inches

Poster Location:  Van Swieten Saal – Exhibit Area

Poster Set-up: November 21 from 10:00 – 1PM
