ICRS Travelling Fellowship 2017

The Fellowshipo Committee noted high achievement and dedication to the field of articular cartilage restoration.  We had almost 25 very qualified and competitive applicants this year, which made the decision on selection of the final three very difficult. For all those candidates, that could not be considered this time, we encourage them to continue to be an active member of the ICRS and re-apply for future fellowship programmes.  We feel all of them have significant contributions to make to our society in the future.

We are pleased to announce the 3 successful candidates of the upcoming Travelling Fellowship 2017:

Luis Eduardo Tirico, Brazil
Cassandra Lee, USA
Weili Fu, China

Sincerely,

Fellowship, Scholarship & Research Grant Committee

Emanuel Papacostas, Chair
Aaron Krych, Deputy Chair
Giuseppe Filardo, Deputy Chair

Mark Your Agenda & Plan to Attend

We cordially invite you to plan joining the ICRS Heritage Summit in Gothenburg. The word heritage refers to important historical events that have a special meaning to the ICRS. 20 years ago, in 1997, the ICRS was formed in Fribourg, Switzerland. 10 years earlier in October 1987, the first autologous chondrocyte implantation was performed in Gothenburg, Sweden. Those events are important milestones for all of us devoted to the mysteries of cartilaginous tissues and their development, degeneration and repair.
