Dr. Deryk Jones is a professional team physician with a focus on biologic reconstruction of the knee, shoulder, elbow, hip and ankle joints. Dr. Jones has a full academic professorship at the University of Queensland in Brisbane Australia. He has an extensive 30 year experience in the function of the articular chondrocyte at the basic science and clinical levels. Professor Jones runs a large sports medicine practice and sports medicine fellowship. The program has three clinical fellows per year, one research fellow per year, one data coordinator per year and three clinical research coordinators. The extensive clinical volume comes from the programs coverage of over 55 high schools, colleges and professional sports teams. Collaborative efforts are underway with numerous outside institutions and companies. Outcomes measures are collected on all patients as a standard of care.
