Students, Residents, Physiotherapists and Nurses are requested to provide a proof of their training /residency or professional status to receive our highly reduced registration rates. This document must be sent to our office at office@cartilage.org immediately after registration to confirm the specially reduced registration fee.

** Accompanying persons have no access to the scientific sessions of the congress but are cordially invited to attend the opening session and the welcome cocktail.
Attention: ICRS-Members who are not in good standing with their membership dues 2020/2021 will automatically be charged with the non-member fee by the registration system.
Non-member attendees who apply for ICRS membership 2022 right before their congress registration will immediately profit from our highly reduced members’ fee.
ICRS Members who are not in good-standing with their membership dues 2021/22 will automatically be charged with the non-member fee.
Important: The ICRS 22 congress itself will be held in accordance with the so-called 2G+ Covid Concept for infection protection and hygiene measures. This means that only fully vaccinated and/or recovered attendees with an officially EU-recognized certificate have access to the event. Negative tested persons are not allowed to enter the congress/event area for the duration of the event. The obligation to maintain a minimum distance and the obligation to wear masks indoors during the event do not apply.
COVID Certificates: The purpose of the EU Digital COVID Certificate is to help facilitate free movement and travel within the EU for both EU citizens and non-EU nationals already in the EU. So far, 33 non-EU countries (and territories) joined the EU Digital COVID Certificate system, based on EU equivalence decisions. The COVID certificates issued in those 33 countries (and territories) are accepted in the EU under the same conditions as the EU Digital COVID Certificate. Likewise, the EU Digital COVID Certificate is accepted by those 33 countries. Those are: Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Cabo Verde, El Salvador, Faroe Islands, Georgia, Israel, Iceland, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Norway, Panama, San Marino, Serbia, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Togo, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Uruguay, The Vatican.
Travel: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, restrictions for entry into Germany from some countries may apply. Persons entering Germany must complete a digital entry registration. Depending on the place departure, they also have to provide a negative test result or proof of immunity, and comply with quarantine regulations. ICRS and ON provide support to 10 young ICRS-members below 40 (residents, student fellows and young investigators) towards their individual travel expenses up to a maximum of EUR 500.00 for attending the ICRS World Congress Berlin 2022. Written notification per email is required for all congress cancellations and name changes. Notifications should be sent to the Cartilage Executive Office office@cartilage.org
Refunds for congress cancellations are as follows:
In case of a congress cancellation due to rejection of an abstract, the full amount of the paid registration fee will be refunded. Name changes will be charged with a fee of € 100.00.
Congress fees will be reimbursed if the congress is cancelled for other reasons than war, warlike events, and acts of terrorism or sickness epidemics. In the latter circumstances, only a proportion of the congress fee would be refundable.
