Marcelo Bordalo is a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist in São Paulo, Brazil. He completed his medical school, radiology residency and musculoskeletal (MSK) radiology fellowship at University of São Paulo Medical School. Afterwards, he completed two fellowships in MSK radiology departments at Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium) and Hospital for Joint Diseases (New York). He obtained a PhD at University of São Paulo. Since July, 2005, he is the chief of MSK radiology at Hospital das Clinicas (USP) and Hospital Sirio Libanes (São Paulo, Brazil). He is also member of The International Skeletal Society (ISS), responsible for the South America ISS Outreach Program. Edited the MSK volume book for the Brazilian College of Radiology. Authored and co-authored several book chapters and more than 60 peer reviewed articles.
