Please provide a general description of your program:

SKH is the youngest hospital in Singapore, opened in 2018. We have established a joint preservation programme which includes cartilage repair. Clinically, all our cartilage repair patients undergo PROM follow-ups with clinical scores, as well as MRI imaging post operation with our novel T2RV imaging. All data is captured in our local registry. In terms of basic sciences, we have an on-site dry laboratory for collection of tissues and an off-site (20 min drive) state of the art wet laboratory for further bio-processing and deep science research. Collection of meniscus, ligament, cartilage, tendon and muscle tissues are underway to build a bio-bank. Our main cartilage repair techniques would be using acellular scaffolds such as ChondroGide and Hyalofast, all done arthroscopically, as well as using allogenic cartilage transplants (Prochondrix).
