ICRS supports compliance with international ethical standards and therefore emphasizes that all participants who would like to attend tours or social events shall bear related costs themselves.

Opening Ceremony & Welcome Reception
Saturday, Sept 09, 2023, from 18.30 – 20.00 h

All participants, industry representatives and accompanying persons are invited to join the opening ceremony as well as the welcome reception at the Melia Sitges. The Reception is offered to you by the ICRS on a complimentary basis. After the cocktail, participants have free time for their own leisure to discover Sitges and enjoy one of the many nice restaurants, bars & clubs in the city.

ICRS Fun Run for Healthy Joints
Sunday, Sept 10, 2023, from 06.45 – 07.30 h

The ICRS and Hotel Melia understand that maintaining a fitness routine while travelling is difficult. Congress participants wanting to get off the treadmill and take their workout outside can join the ICRS Fun Run led by ICRS Members. Runners meet at 6:30 h in the Lobby for a four-mile jog returning by 7:30 h.

President’s Dinner in the Vineyards (upon invitation only)

Located in the heart of Penedès and surrounded by vineyards and Mediterranean flora, sits the carefully restored Masia Torreblanca, a beautiful country house from the 15th century closely tied to its winemaking origins in the 12th century. Ticket Price per person: (incl. transport, dinner & drinks): €150.00 (Faculty Members are invited)

Free Evening for participants’ individual programmes and for industry-related events. The hotel concierge is pleased to book a table for you at one of your favourite restaurants in town.

Catalonian Farewell Evening
Monday, Sept. 11, 2023, from 19.30 – 23.00 h

Viva La Vida! Join us for a fun evening at the scenic historic palace “Xalet Del Nin” with traditional mouth-watering food, cava, wine, beer & drinks in a relaxed party atmosphere and lots of good-mood music. The venue is situated on the coast in a fantastic location right by the Mediterranean Sea.
