Akira Tsujii is a specialized knee surgeon. He joined the Orthopaedics Surgery of Osaka. University in Japan, where he engages in treatment in Osaka University Hospital, clinical and basic research, and education for medical students and fellows. He graduated from Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine in 2007. He did a fellowship at Osaka University-affiliated hospitals and subsequently completed a PhD at the department of biochemistry lab at Osaka University in 2016 where his main research was
about nucleo-cytoplasmic transport. He was trained as a staff member in the department of Orthopaedics Surgery at Yao municipal hospital in 2016 and Hoshigaoka Medical Center in 2017 to learn arthroscopic surgical techniques.
Since 2020, he has now clinical practice at Osaka University Hospital and has been interested in working on research to keep the meniscus healthy for long period.
