Dr. Shao is an attending surgeon / Associate Professor at Peking University Third Hospital. He won two ICRS Scholarships (2015 & 2018), the 2019 ICRS/ON traveling Fellowship and the Best Abstract Award at the 2019 ICRS Focus Meeting in Rome. Currently, Dr. Shao serves as Co-deputy Chair of Communication & Publication Committee and as Associate Editor of the Journal of Cartilage & Joint Preservation. He has >30 publications and now >400 surgeries per year. Recently, he won the American Shoulder & Elbow Surgeon Society Traveling Fellowship and became the corresponding member of ASES. Finally, Dr. Shao is a committee member of several societies in Orthopeadic & Sports Medicine in China.
