Charge

To promote the engagement of basic scientists with governance and with activities of the ICRS.

Members

The committee shall consist of at least 4 members, but no more than 8.

Responsibilities

The committee shall recommend measures to be taken to actively increase the engagement of clinical and basic scientists with governance and with ongoing activities of the ICRS. The initiative to further engage junior members will give special attention since this group of members is regarded as the future of the society. Further, the Translational Research Committee will review the scientific quality of the ICRS events to 1) ensure significant attendance of ICRS events by basic scientists and 2) foster the mission of the ICRS as a forum for international collaboration in cartilaginous tissue research by bringing together basic scientists and clinical researchers.

Election and Term of Appointment

Its members and Chair shall be elected and serve as delineated in Election Procedures.
