Director of Nano-Biotechnology Laboratory and Orthopedic Surgeon, Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute and Assistant Professor, University of Bologna 2013-2017. Full professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Sechenov University, Moscow 2018-2022.

Principal investigator of numerous research projects and clinical trials regarding biotechnology applications in orthopaedics, into the framework of European and national research. Author of over 250 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals (H-index 83) and over 40 chapters in textbooks in orthopaedic surgery Editor of 5 Orthopaedic Surgery textbooks.

Faculty of more than 400 society meetings all over Europe, Asia and America. Associated Editor of International Orthopedics, Journal of Experimental Orthopedics and Joints. Reviewer for more than 20 Orthopaedics Journals. She is also the 2nd Vice President SIAGASCOT.
