Theo Marin, MD, is a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in the treatment of sports-related injuries and high-energy trauma.
He is pursuing a fellowship training at Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital (Doha, Qatar) after finishing his training in Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy, and Cartilage Repair Surgery at ICRS/ISAKOS TheMIS Orthopaedic Center (Thessaloniki, Greece) with Dr. Emmanouil Papakostas and Pr. Ioannis Terzidis in 2018.
He has worked as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at the Hospital Periferico de Coche “Dr. Leopoldo Manrique Terrero” (2018-2021) and as the Team Physician and Head of the Rehabilitation Department for Xanthi FC – Super League Greece (2019).
Dr. Marin focuses his private practice and research on sports injuries. He holds his private practice in Las Mercedes (Caracas, Venezuela), where he is devoted to preventing, treating, and rehabilitating amateur and professional athletes.
As an educator, Dr. Marin has a background in Educational Technology and e-Learning. Educational Technology Diploma in The Metropolitan University – UNIMET (Caracas, 2017), Foundation for the Technological Upgrade of Latin America – FATLA (2013), and The Central University of Venezuela (2012).
