Dr. Mohan Lakshmi Naathan M.S Orth, D. Orth, MCh Orth is an Orthopaedic surgeon in India who specialises and practices in Regenerative Medicine since 2012. He started and headed the Regenerative Medicine Department in Kauvery Hospital, Chennai. He started his own orthobiologic clinic in 2018 (ReGen Arthritis Clinic) and has been providing all regenerative treatments from PRP to mesenchymal culture and osteoblast culture for arthritis, AVN, sports injuries etc. He has started stem cell research work in VHS Multi-speciality hospital and Research institute, Chenna, doing multiple studies in biomarkers in osteoarthritis. He started RIO (Regen institute of Orthopaedics and orthobiologics) Hospital in 2023 that focuses on all surgical and regenerative treatments in Orthopaedics. He is also in the process of setting up his own stem cell research and culture lab in the next year.
Joining the ICRS in 2017 has been instrumental to successfully apply the latest practices in Regenerative Medicine in his clinical practise and benefit his patients. Dr. Lakshmi Naathan is a member of the ICRS Membership and Bylaws committee since 2022 and has volunteered to be a part of an ICRS Workgroup for Under-represented Regions.
