Stephan Seiler, born on 04.07.1960 in Switzerland, graduated from a Business School in 1981, holds a superior degree in hospitality management from the Hotel Management School Lausanne and a certificate for advanced studies in Non-Profit Management & Leadership from Basel University.
After some years of trainings in Swiss Leading Hotels & Restaurants, Stephan moved to South America (Brazil & Ecuador), where he accumulated 15 years of hotel management experience in some of the finest hotel properties in Latin America.
After his marriage in 1997 and the birth of his son Stephan Jr., Stephan decided to return to Switzerland in the year 2000, where he assumed a new challenge, starting to work in the medical society & congress management area. From 2000 – 2005, Stephan was responsible for the overall organization of the annual congresses (up to 4000 participants) and other educational events of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe – CIRSE, an association with more than 2500 members from all over the world.
In 2005, Stephan was appointed Executive Director of the International Cartilage Regeneration & Joint Preservation Society – ICRS where he is responsible until today for the overall association and congress management.
Stephan has successfully organized numerous medical congresses all around the world. Stephan is fluent in German, Portuguese, English and has very good knowledge in French and Spanish.
