After completing an MRes and PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Strathlcyde, I am now a Research Associate at the University of Manchester. My main research interest is the clinical assessment of lower limb biomechanics, particularly of the knee, in arthritis and following trauma. I am also interested in treatments and methods of preventing disease progression in osteochondral injury and osteoarthritis. Other research interests include outcomes after knee replacement surgery as well as the health economics and assessment of novel devices in orthopaedic surgery.
