Mario Hevesi

Dr. Mario Hevesi is an Orthopedic Surgeon and Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, USA. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency training at Mayo Clinic, followed by his Sports fellowship training at Rush University Chicago, Illinois. During his residency, he also completed his PhD in Biologic Joint Preservation at Utrecht University, in the Netherlands. Dr. Hevesi has specialized training and technical expertise in the areas of advanced hip arthroscopy, cartilage restoration, and joint preservation. His clinical and research interests center on both arthroscopic and open joint preservation surgery as well as direct anterior hip arthroplasty.
