Stephan Seiler

Stephan Seiler, born on July 4, 1960, in Switzerland, completed his education at a Business School in 1981. He holds an advanced degree in hospitality management from the Hotel Management School Lausanne and possesses a certificate in Non-Profit Management & Leadership from Basel University. After undergoing training in Swiss Leading Hotels & Restaurants, Stephan ventured to South America (Brazil & Ecuador), amassing 15 years of invaluable hotel management experience in some of the most prestigious properties in Latin America.
Following his marriage in 1997 and the birth of his son Stephan Jr., Stephan decided to return to Switzerland in the year 2000. There, he embraced a new challenge, entering the field of medical society and congress management. From 2000 to 2005, Stephan played a pivotal role in organizing the annual congresses (attended by up to 4000 participants) and other educational events for the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe – CIRSE, an association boasting more than 2500 members worldwide. In 2005, Stephan assumed the role of Executive Director at the International Cartilage Regeneration & Joint Preservation Society – ICRS, where he oversaw the overall management of the association and its congresses. In 2024, Stephan has transitioned into partial retirement but remains responsible for organizing the ICRS Educational Events. Throughout his career, Stephan has successfully orchestrated nearly 100 medical congresses worldwide. He is proficient in German, Portuguese, and English, with a solid command of French and Spanish.
