    Pre - Course: Surgical Skills (Center for Anatomy & Cell Biology, Medical University of Vienna)
    This surgical skills workshop on human specimen will be a very comprehensive wet lab on the anatomic institution of Vienna and it will be focused on cartilage regeneration and repair procedures only. The cell transplantation technologies, which are right now available in Europe as well as biomaterials, augmentation techniques or microfracture or Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate (BMAC) will be demonstrated and also practiced on anatomic specimens. Leading orthopaedic surgeons will guide through the course and help to develop the skills for cartilage regeneration procedures. Sold out.

    Pre - Course: Imaging Skills (High Field MR Center, Medical University Vienna)
    The first part of the Imaging Workshop will focus on training in advanced morphological assessment of cartilage repair tissue by using the new updated MOCART Score 2.0. The second part will be dedicated to advanced biochemical imaging in routine clinical MR examinations by using T2 mapping with absolute T2 values, global and zonal T2 ratios of cartilage repair tissue.
