WELCOME BY THE ICRS CONGRESS CHAIR
We welcome you to Boston, a city filled with the history of the of the American Revolution, breathtaking architecture, some of the leading academic institutions of the world and endless charm. We are honored to have you attend the 18th ICRS World Congress here in Boston. The “Freedom Trail,” tracing the steps at the beginning of the American Revolution, begins just a few minutes’ walk from the Congress Hotel.
The aim of our World Congress is to bring together clinicians and researchers to exchange the most exciting information about approaches that can be used for the treatment of cartilage problems. This Congress will enable young practitioners to meet with leading senior, experienced experts from around the world, helping to train the next generation of cartilage researchers and clinicians.
We will also hear the latest information garnered from the most recent surgical skills and lab skills courses run by the ICRS. The juxtaposition of clinical and basic science presentations allows for stimulating discussions of the latest therapies, along with the most exciting progress in the engineering and biology of joint preservation and cartilage regeneration and repair.
We are confident that the 18th ICRS World Congress will stimulate future collaborations among cartilage researchers and clinical scientists and practitioners.
