Emeritus Committee

Charge

To advise the President and Executive Committee on matters of Protocol, Politics and Strategic Direction of the organization.

Members

This committee is the only committee that is not open for general membership nomination or election. All Past Presidents, excluding the Immediate Past President who serves on the Executive Committee, will be invited to be members on this committee and serve for life.

Responsibilities

The members shall give advisory input to the Scientific Program Committee on Annual Meeting content suggestions. This committee might have a rotating Emeritus lecture by one member each year at the Congress Meeting. The members shall act as liaison with other Orthopedic and Arthritis Organizations throughout the world i.e. ESSKA/OARSI etc.

Election and Term of Appointment

This committee is the only committee that is not open for general membership nomination or election. The Chair shall be selected by vote of the committee members and serve a maximum of two full terms. The Chair of the Emeritus Committee is a regular member of the ICRS General Board.

Current Members

(All Past ICRS Presidents, except the immediate Past president who is still serving on the Executive Committee) This committee consists of at least 5 members, including the Chairperson. The total membership number is dependent on the working needs of the committee.
