After much consideration, the ICRS Executive Board and the Local Committee have made the difficult decision to postpone the Focus Meeting Thessaloniki to new dates, now taking place next year from June 23-25, 2022. Early Bird fees are available until February 28, 2022.
I want to take this opportunity to congratulate JCJP’s inaugural Editor-in-Chief (EIC), Lisa A. Fortier, DVM, PhD, DACVS on her appointment to Editor-in-Chief/Division Director of the Publications Division with the American Veterinary Medical Association. Lisa has done a wonderful job during her tenure as EIC of our new Open Access journal, the Journal of Cartilage & Joint Preservation, and has put the new journal firmly on the map as the Official Journal of the ICRS. Her new appointment, however, has necessitated her stepping away from the JCJP editorship, effective July 1, 2021.

The Biologic Association (BA) is an orthopaedic organization dedicated to providing one voice for all matters on musculoskeletal biologics and regenerative medicine. Since ICRS is a Founding Members of the BA we want to share an upcoming complimentary educational opportunity provided by the BA.

The International Cartilage Regeneration & Joint Preservation Society and Elsevier, a global research publishing and information analytics provider, today announced the launch of a new OPEN ACCESS JOURNAL, “The Journal of Cartilage & Joint PreservationTM (JCJP)” that will focus on whole joint health and support the cartilage community.
We are very proud to announce the launch of our new official ICRS Mobile APP (International Cartilage Regeneration & Joint Preservation Society), through which you can launch our educational events such as World Congresses, Summits and Focus Meetings and get at the same time important ICRS Push Notifications on your mobile device. ICRS will regularly add new conferences to this App, so there is no need to delete the app and reinstall a new one!
Due to the ongoing Covid situation and the uncertainty of further travel restrictions as well as to ensure the safety of the participants, the Meeting Chairs and the ICRS Board have decided to postpone the Focus Meeting Thessaloniki to Thursday, October 21 to Saturday, October 23, 2021.
The ICRS Virtual Convention had 210 participants and 750 modules booked. The modules can be viewed again on demand as from November 10 only for those who had a valid registration.
